Cupping Profile: mild intensity overall with a consistent profile of peanut, chocolate, honey and berry cereal with a medium acidity and body.
Fazendas Klem grows organic coffees among the hills of Matas de Minas, a mountainous region that perfectly matches climate, altitude and soil for delivering outstanding cup profiles. Coffees are slowly matured, increasing the concentration of sugars and complex flavors in the cherries.
The farm has established an international internship program that welcomes trainees from all over the world to come and share experiences in coffee and organic production. The farm also grows six different varieties of organic avocados, which have been implemented together with bananas as a part of their goal to develop polyculture systems.
